Sculptor extrordinaire, David Robert Nelson's studio is located in Chicago's Historic Humboldt Park.
Nelson's sculptures can be found in many private and public collections. His works have been
installed on Chicago's Navt Pier Sculpture walk numerous times.
In Rene Arceo's own words:Many of the influences and sources of inspiration for my work come from the Mexican School of Art.
Specifically from printmakers such are Alfredo Zalce, Alberto Beltran and Leopoldo Mendez and from the muralists Jorge Gonzalez Camarena, Fernando Leal and Xavier Guerrero.
Olga Sinclair, Panama's sweetheart and premier contemporary painter continues the legacy begun by her father Alfredo Sinclair; a national treasure. Her paintinngs evoke the energy and spirit of her passion for life, love, and her world. Olga's studio is located in Panama City, Panama.
Marcus Akinlana is an artist whose monumental works and heroic styles are reminecint of the great muralists and sculptors of the Works Projects Administration. Marcus and his wife Fatu direct two companies which they founded;the WON Mural Society and Positive Creations. Their home and studio is located in the French Quarter of New Orleans. The companies also employ several talented and hard working local studio assistants.



Artists Collectives

A non for profit organization centered in the city of Chicago and dedicated to the advancement of professional artists and the arts community.
An artist directed event coordinated by the artists community of the Pilsen Barrio in Chicago. This annual event of open studios, galleries and sites where the public can meet with artists for the weekend of October 14th, 2007.
You will find Steve Glabman, poet-musician-painter at this artist collective.
A contemporary and international gallery/studio located in the Pilsen Barrio of Chicago. This site is under the collaboration and direction of artists Miguel Cortez, Elvia Rodriguez, and Jesus Macarena-Avila.
